About

Ashtabula Local Food Festival: Harvest in the Harbor 2025

Sunday, September 21st – 10 to 4pm in the Historic Ashtabula Harbor

Purpose: To Celebrate all of the local food we have to offer, celebrate the growers, the Ashtabula Local Food guide and the many ways we enjoy eating local food!

The Lift Bridge Community Association (LBCA) with Healthy Roots will be hosting the 3rd annual Harvest in the Harbor in collaboration with Ashtabula Farmers’ Market, Dorset Community Food Forest, OSU Extension, Hubbard Run Farms and Harbor Gardens.   In conjunction with over 100 local farms, retail shops, restaurants and seven farmers’ markets in the county, this festival will be full of activities, food and educational events that promote and support the local food movement.

Festival goers will be encouraged to visit many shops, food vendors and restaurants by utilizing a bingo card. There will be multiple activities across Bridge Street. Events include speakers on food, ecosystems and growing, cooking demonstrations, festival fun like tomato tasting, face painting, pumpkin carving contests, and music!

Sponsorship & Vendor Information:  There are many great amenities for sponsors before, during and after the festival. This is a great opportunity to begin or to continue to support local growers, vendors and merchants.  Become a sponsor, a vendor or both!

We are inviting restaurants, businesses, food trucks and vendors of local goods in the county to participate as a sponsor, a vendor or both.  The only requirement as vendor: one item be highlighted as a local food item/dish/product made or produced in Ashtabula County (our group is able to assist in procuring the local foods if need be).

Thank you for your support of the Ashtabula County Local Foods Movement!

With kindness,

The Harvest in the Harbor: Ashtabula Local Food Festival Team!
